Fernandina Beach teens can put their detective skills to the test Thursday, Oct. 22, during a Murder Mystery Party hosted by the Fernandina Beach Library and the Fernandina Beach Police Department.
The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fernandina Beach Branch Library, 25 N. Fourth St.
Participants will investigate fictional crime scenes, interview witnesses, uncover clues and work together to solve a mystery, according to the library's event listing.
Costumes are encouraged but not required.
Library and police continue annual partnership
The Fernandina Beach Police Department said in a Facebook post that it has partnered with the library on the annual murder mystery event for about three years.
The interactive activity gives teenagers an opportunity to work together, examine evidence and practice problem-solving skills in a fictional investigation.
