More than 25 health and wellness vendors will gather in Fernandina Beach on Saturday, Oct. 17, for the third annual Willow Wellness Fest, a free community event supporting breast cancer awareness and pancreatic cancer research.

Hosted by Willow Beauty, the festival will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Palmetto Place Plaza, 1881 S. 14th St.

The event will feature vendors offering health, fitness, wellness, sustainability and self-care products and services, according to the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce.

Wellness activities, food and entertainment

Visitors can browse vendor booths, meet local business owners and explore wellness products and services throughout the day.

The festival will also feature live music, raffles, giveaways and activities, according to Willow Beauty's event page.

The Beyond Horizons food truck will be on-site, and businesses at Palmetto Place Plaza will participate alongside outdoor vendors.

Festival supports cancer awareness and research

Organizers said proceeds from the event will support breast cancer awareness efforts and pancreatic cancer research and support services.

The festival expanded its charitable focus last year to include pancreatic cancer alongside breast cancer awareness.

The event coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed nationally each October.

Admission is free, and no advance tickets are required.
